Most of us love watching telenovelas or movies dubbed in our native language. Don't get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. We love our native language and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But since your goal is to get hired by a call center, you need to start watching English or American Films and TV shows.

Here are obvious reasons why you need to watch English programs:

·You could familiarize yourself with the English Language

·You will be exposed to their idiomatic expressions
·You will learn a lot about their culture, and how they do things.

When you watch English or American TV programs you should do the following:

·Watch the TV Show or movie attentively
·Avoid all forms of distraction
·Listen closely to what the actors are saying
·If you like a certain line that one of the actors said, repeat what was said to yourself
·You may also write down what was said, this way you could go read back the lines that you liked from the show, and you could also reinforce what you heard
·You could simply echo what is being said by the actors in your head. It's a good exercise, it helps you think in English.
